About the Artist
I’m Patricia Quinn, a watercolor artist drawn to the quiet space between realism and abstraction — where emotion, memory, and color meet. My work is inspired by the beauty of everyday life and the feeling each moment holds — whether found in nature, light, or reflection.
My love of painting began with my grandmother, who discovered art later in her own life and shared it with me as a child. I still remember her showing me how to paint backgrounds — the first strokes that would lead me here, years later, to rediscover the joy of painting for myself.
I paint whatever captures my attention in the moment — florals, fruit, nautical, or landscapes — each one reimagined through the lens of emotion and memory. Every piece is created traditionally, with ink, brush, paper, and watercolor, and many carry my stylized initials, PQ, subtly woven into the composition.
This shop is just beginning, with only a few collections so far, but many more are on the way as I continue to create. My hope is that each piece brings a sense of peace, joy, and memory into your space — one painting at a time.
Based on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, I paint as a way to pause, to notice, and to honor this moment — and I hope my work brings that same sense of peace and presence into your home.
Thank you for visiting This Moment Art Prints. I’m grateful to share this creative journey with you and hope you find a piece that speaks to your own moments and memories.
